Aaron Lim & Friends in Concert

As part of the Lee Wei Song (LWS) School’s effort in promoting the instructors and students of our school, the 1st of a series of “Star Instructor Concerts” was held on the 21st and 22nd of June 2006, at Music Dreamer ‘Live’ Café in Marina Square.

This pioneer effort was helmed by the school’s Head-of-Department (HOD), Mr. Aaron Lim, and was assisted by Mr. Jason Tan, the Assistant HOD, as well as many other talented students and accompanists of the school. The concert showcased Aaron’s vocal versatility, with a variety of songs ranging from slow love ballads to contemporary pop rock songs.

Performing alongside Aaron were many of the school’s young talents, including Ms. Pepper See, who did an impressive rendition of Christina Aguilera’s “Beautiful” and garnered resounding applause from the audience. Other performers involved include Angela (Vocal Instructor), Bangniang (President of LWS Writers’ Club), Gabriel, Hafidz, Jovi, Lingyann (President of LWS Leaders), and Irwin.

Both nights were sell-out concerts, with an audience of around 110 people each night! The concerts both ended with a resounding finale item, with the LWS Performing Group leading the audience in dancing the night away!
